WE’RE CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF HARD WORK, ADVENTURE, AND TRAIL RECLAMATION.
Trans-Cascadia does more than take racers into the deep backcountry—we restore and maintain trails to protect and preserve the opportunity for everyone to experience these landscapes on a bike. The volunteer community that has been growing around this nonprofit for the past decade has reclaimed over 600 miles of previously unmaintained trails in the Cascade Range and is hungry for more. Every entry fee supports this mission, ensuring these trails get the love they need to remain viable recreation resources and opportunities for adventure into the future.
WE COULDN’T DO IT WITHOUT OUR COMMUNITY AND AMAZING SPONSORS.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
-
This is a backcountry mountain bike adventure. We look at this as more of an event than a race. Each day's route has at least one vehicle assisted up shuttle but all riders must complete the entire designated route which has significant elevation gain and loss with a diverse variety of gradients including some extremely steep and loose trail (hike-a-bike). Routes have few,if any options for bail out. The cumulatively timed stages are on primarily continuous descents. This race is perfect for a wide range of riders—from seasoned professionals to passionate mountain bikers who live for challenging terrain and epic days on the trail. If you thrive on raw , natural, unmanicured trail and are excited by the idea of long, rewarding days of riding, this event is for you. If you’re ready to push your limits and enjoy incredible trails with like-minded riders, we can’t wait to have you join us.
